fatherless

When Q.O. Moore speaks with audiences, the premise of his message about the epidemic of fatherlessness is not about exposing, embarrassing or shaming those who have been absent in the lives of their children. It's about getting those children to see that on the other side of their pain is a true champion.

Moore's message is all about healing and hope for those who have struggled with being hurt or abandoned by one of two people who were supposed to love them unconditionally but unfortunately chose the latter.

None of it is the fault of the child, and he or she can do something to stop the generational pain of fatherlessness by choosing to never abandon their children. If they have done so, there is still time to make an effort to make things right.

For the victims of this epidemic: It's not your fault.

Fatherlessness is an epidemic that has been going on since the beginning of time. Many of the struggles that children, adolescents and adults, from anger to depression can be directly linked to fatherlessness.

Growing up without a father, Q.O. Moore is able to directly connect with those that have personal struggles stemming from the lack of a relationship with their father. This connection not only has a direct effect on anyone who has experienced fatherlessness, but also on those who grew up with a healthy relationship with their fathers.

When Q.O. Moore speaks, his goal is to get those who struggle with fatherlessness a chance to understand that their pain is real and that it wasn't their fault. He encourages the audience to embrace the lack of relationship and that it doesn't have to define their future for one more second.

Every person wants to be accepted, approved, affirmed and, more than anything, acknowledged by their father, but if that never happens, they can learn to grow and love themselves despite the absence of that relationship.
